0900 NEW from 01.12.2024

Tariff model for 0900 numbers from 01.12.2024

New opportunities for the market

From 1 December this year, both billing and tariffs for 0900 numbers will change. The changeover from the previous ‘offline billing’ to the ‘online billing procedure’ means that in future there will only be one standardised tariff (and payout amount) for landline and mobile calls. This eliminates the cancellation risk for the service provider.

This is also accompanied by a restructuring of the number ranges, in which the previous content-based allocation of numbers based on the first digit after 0900- (0900-1 for information services, 0900-3 for entertainment services and 0900-5 for other/erotic services) is replaced by the fixed allocation of a tariff.

The new numbering plan provides for the following tariffs (new lanes are marked in red):

Service code End customer rate (gross) per minute
0900-0
0,49 Euro
0900-1
0,69 Euro
0900-2
0,99 Euro
0900-3
1,49 Euro
0900-4
1,69 Euro
0900-5
1,99 Euro
0900-6
2,29 Euro
0900-7
2,49 Euro
0900-8
2,99 Euro

Deviating tariffs are no longer possible from 01.12.24. The service code 0900-9 serves as a reserve line.

This means for number holders:

You can continue to operate your current 0900 number after 01.12.24. If you do not take action, the tariff for the number will be automatically adjusted in accordance with the above numbering plan and billed to the end customer. If you would like a different tariff, you must apply to the Federal Network Agency for a new number.
